Fenugreek comes from Fabaceae family of flowering plants and  Trigonella foenum-graecum is its scientific name. The leaves of the plant are taken as herbs, while the seeds are used as spices in the kitchen..Fenugreek has many important uses

Fenugreek is a herb that is used for health benefits in treating various ailments, including high cholesterol and hyperglycemia.

While most people do not know yet about fenugreek seeds, but in majority, people have at least tasted them once or another whether they knew it or not. Fenugreek is mainly cultivated in India. It can mostly be discovered in dishes like curry or taken as seasoning on foods the same as to salt and pepper.

They are available as 500 mg, 580 mg, or 610 mg capsules, and the dosage is vary depending on the purpose for their intake.

Fenugreek tea is made from the seeds of the plant. You can often discover it as one of the ingredients in detox teas. This is due to the seeds contain good fiber which swells when it contacts with any fluid. This can help encourage bowel movements.
